When the pandemic first hit in March 2020, the SNA Board recognized that this was going to be a challenging time for many. To that end, SNA decided to delay a planned beautification project to make a donation to Lakeview Pantry to help with their efforts in feeding our community during a time of great need. Lakeview Pantry saw a 400% increase in demand for their services after the pandemic struck. During 3 months at Wrigley Field, they distributed over 74,000 boxes of 2-week food supplies.

We were pleased to present our $5,000 donation to Lakeview Pantry during our virtual community meeting in May 2020.

Lakeview Pantry states that each dollar donated allows them to provide 8 meals, so our donation amounted to approximately 40,000 meals for neighbors in need. We are proud to have helped!
