We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated neighbors who want to ensure Southport Corridor remains one of Chicago’s best places to live, work and thrive.

SNA is now accepting nominations for our Board of Directors. All nominations must be received by April 6, 2026. Nominee qualifications include:

1. Being an SNA member in good standing for at least 90 days

2. Having a demonstrated history of service to the neighborhood, including attendance at SNA community meetings

3. Committing to a three-year term on the SNA Board

4. Participating in at least one Association committee (events, communications, beautification, etc)

In your nomination, please include a resume, the number of years the nominee has lived in the neighborhood, why the nominee is interested in joining the SNA Board and what vision the nominee has for our neighborhood. 

The SNA Nominating Committee will review all nominations and present a selected slate of candidates for SNA membership vote at the next SNA Community Meeting on April 20, 2026 at Uncommon Ground.
